The 2024 ILCA Under 21 European Championships & Open European Trophy have concluded triumphantly yesterday in Majorca, Spain, under the impeccable organization of Reial Club Nàutic de Pollença.
After an intense series of 10 races, the medalists emerged as follows:

Lilly May Niezabitowska from Poland, who held the lead throughout, was ultimately crowned the new 2024 ILCA 6 Under 21 European champion, securing the coveted Gold medal. Emma Mattivi from Italy claimed the bronze medal, while Spanish sailor Claudia Adan Lledo made a remarkable ascent from third to second position, earning the Silver medal.
Among the top 10 competitors, the Devoti team made a notable presence with Eve McMahon from Ireland securing the fourth position and Marga Perello from Spain finishing eighth.

The men’s championship witnessed a thrilling showdown in the final race, as Enrico Tanferna from Italy and Ole Schweckendiek from Germany battled fiercely with just a two-point difference. However, Tanferna’s narrow lead secured him the Gold medal by a single point, leaving Schweckendiek with the Silver.
The Bronze medal was claimed by the Under 19 champion, Rem Pulci Magen from Israel, adding to the honors for the Devoti Team. Another standout performance from the Devoti camp was from Yogev Alcalay from Israel, who secured the fifth position.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, authorities, and volunteers whose dedication made this event a resounding success.

Congratulations to all the sailors, and we look forward to taking part next year in Split, Croatia, for the 2025 ILCA Under 21 Europeans!
